Nuño Lara participates in Easter Holiday Operation 2023 on the country’s highway network / @jorgenunol @SCT_mx >>>

#SICT.- The Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), Jorge Nuño Lara, participated in the Easter Holiday Operation 2023, which is being deployed in the country’s federal highway network, in order to provide safety and prevent accidents on highways and passenger bus terminals.

During the supervision of one of the highway points located on the Escénica Tijuana-Ensenada highway, toll booth Rosarito, Baja California, the head of the SICT pointed out that this program is made up of Operation 30 Delta and the verification of weights and physical-mechanical conditions in federal transportation and private cargo transportation.

He explained that Operation 30 Delta is deployed in 25 points of the country’s highway network, with a team of 75 doctors and paramedics from the General Directorate of Protection and Preventive Medicine in Transportation (DGPMPT), in coordination with the General Directorate of Federal Trucking and the National Guard, in order to avoid accidents on the roads.

Fátima Guzmán, head of the DGPMPT’s Medical Examinations in Operation Program, explained that for this purpose, a review of the physical conditions of the operators of federal transportation is carried out, mainly those who drive cargo and tourism trucks.
