#SICT.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) through the National Roads Program will reach a goal of 415 paved accesses in ten states of the country, equivalent to 4,165 kilometers, which will benefit more than 2 million inhabitants of municipalities with greater backwardness and marginalization.

These roads will have a total investment of 18,923 million pesos and are expected to be completed in June 2024. During their construction, 72 thousand direct jobs and 287 thousand indirect jobs will be generated.

Through this program, access roads are built to promote equal, inclusive and sustainable development in the different regions of the country so that everyone has the same opportunities.

Due to its marginal conditions, Oaxaca was the first state in which the program operated; however, due to its success, it was extended to Chihuahua, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Sonora, Tlaxcala, Veracruz, Durango, Nayarit and Puebla.
