#ISSSTE.- The Director General of the Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (Issste), Pedro Zenteno Santaella, handed over appointments to the directors of the regional hospitals of: Yucatán, Monterrey, Morelos, Guanajuato, Oaxaca, and in Mexico City, of the «Adolfo López Mateos», and the Centro Médico Nacional (CMN) «20 de Noviembre».

«With this, certainty is given to the actions carried out in the hospitals, because having a complete medical corps and consolidated government will allow us to continue making history in the institute with its transformation.»

The most valuable thing that Issste has is its human resources and, when they are fully prepared, as the doctors who were in charge of the office demonstrated, it will allow us to improve the service substantially, he added.

He urged the new directors to conduct themselves with professionalism, to go down to the services and be close to the staff; above all, to be sensitive in their treatment of patients, with love for others, because they are dealing with human beings, not with numbers or files.

In this sense, he told them: «nobody takes away the pleasure of serving, it is what we take with us at the end of time, having been useful to society, being close to the people, solving an adverse situation; that has no pay».
