#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- With the start of its first date, the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup, known worldwide as Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup, the most important equestrian event of the international season, arrived again in San Miguel de Allende.

Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup takes place from April 27 to 30 in the Best Heritage City of Mexico and is one of the most prestigious equestrian competitions in show jumping, bringing together the best riders and horses to compete in teams in a series of tests.

Juan Manuel Cossio Vásquez del Mercado, president of the Mexican Equestrian Federation, spoke about San Miguel de Allende as the venue: «It is a source of pride that Mexico hosts these events. This cup was held for the first time in Mexico in 2014 in Coapexpan, Xalapa, thanks to the hospitality of the Chedraui family; for seven times we were there and now that we are in San Miguel de Allende we confirm that it meets many characteristics that we are looking for, both for the facilities and for what the colonial city offers, to show abroad what Mexico is.»

Daniel Riham Salum, president of the organizing committee, explained the importance of holding the meeting in this World Heritage City: «This is one of the most prestigious events worldwide.
