#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- The Salsa Fest returned to Boca del Río in its 2023 edition, where thousands of people gathered at the Salsódromo on Vicente Fox Boulevard to experience and enjoy the first day of this international festival.

Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, Mayor of Boca del Río, said that once again the city has become a national and international reference in tourism and first class events.

«We are very happy because undoubtedly there will be a lot of movement in the city, a lot of economic revenue, employment generation, we will have a full weekend in hotel occupancy, restaurants, shopping malls, it is a festival of such magnitude that more than one hundred thousand people are expected on Thursday, Friday and Saturday,» said the mayor.

The municipal president emphasized that since the first day of his government, Boca del Río has been safe, orderly and clean, ready to receive thousands of people throughout the year.

He also emphasized that there have been multiple weekends, projecting the city through artistic, sporting, cultural and national and international business events, being the city a reference in the Mexican southeast.

Unánue Abascal asked all attendees to heed the recommendations of the municipal staff, mainly the Municipal Civil Protection, Municipal Police and Municipal Transit, who will be attentive and in coordination with state elements.
