Port of Veracruz begins rehabilitation of Zamora Park / @PatyYunes @AyuntamientoVer >>>

#Veracruz, #Ver.- This Monday morning, Mayor Paty Lobeira de Yunes began the comprehensive rehabilitation of the «Manuel Gutiérrez Zamora» park, as part of the Rehabilitation Project of the Historic Center of the City.

She emphasized that in this way the urban, touristic and economic development of the municipality will be boosted, with which the environment and quality of life of Veracruz citizens will be improved.

«It is a space full of history, tradition and good memories, where many of us long for those moments when we came to stroll in a park full of life, to ride a bike, or to have a snow in the traditional Yucatan ice cream shop,» said the Mayoress when she gave the starting signal for the work.

She said that Zamora Park has been a gathering place for friends and family for many decades, and its remodeling is essential. «We want it to become a beautiful and dignified park again for the recreation of Veracruz families, as well as for tourists».

She announced that this work is being carried out through the Fideicomiso del Rescate del Centro Histórico with an investment of 5 million pesos.

The Mayoress detailed that for its improvement more than one thousand square meters of floor and trimmings will be built, new electrical installation will be placed for the lighting of the area, the metallic registers and the posts will be rehabilitated.
