#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- After two triennia in oblivion, the families of Sosnábar obtained the deeds to their homes from the hands of municipal president Mauricio Trejo.

The current Municipal Administration, through the Directorate of Urban Development and Land Management, reactivated the deeding process that began in the 2012-2015 government period also headed by Mauricio Trejo and that was canceled by subsequent municipal administrations, leaving more than 50 families in abandonment and uncertainty.

Despite this six-year wait, the Municipality took the initiative and reactivated this regularization and deeding program with negotiations with the notary offices involved, so hope for these families, mainly in the Llano Blanco neighborhood of the Sosnábar community, returned with this surprising news so they could obtain their documents that endorse them as owners of their homes, same that they considered lost and were delivered personally by President Mauricio Trejo.

«We are delivering deeds, on this occasion in Sosnábar 51 deeds were delivered, which means that the efforts we have been making since the first day we took oath in this (Municipal) Administration to resume the regularization and deeding project is already bearing fruit. For six years they forgot that people need a deed, because that is a patrimony, that is peace of mind, that is economic stability of any size, for what for some a small piece of land of 100 meters may not be worth, for many it gives them peace of mind and a patrimony to be able to give. I am happy to hand over deeds derived from a 19-month effort. Here in Sosnábar and in many communities we are working and we will continue to do so until the last day of this administration. It took many years, but at last they are there, it is already a patrimony, they build it, they sell it, they inherit it, but it is already theirs. Congratulations,» said Mauricio Trejo during this long awaited delivery by the inhabitants of Sosnábar.
