#CuautitlánIzcalli, #Edoméx.- After the heavy rains registered in the last hours, the Municipal Government presided by Mrs. Karla Leticia Fiesco García informs that since yesterday afternoon, personnel from Operagua Izcalli, Public Services, Civil Protection and Firefighters, Public Works, Public Safety and Transit and the Water Commission of the State of Mexico (CAEM), carry out security, preventive, cleaning and clearing works in the El Ángulo dam, in addition to maintaining a permanent monitoring of the reservoir.

Likewise, it is reported that a controlled and gradual release is being carried out in the dam in order to have capacity in the capture of rainwater, which is intended to avoid the risk of overflowing in case of severe rainfall.

It should be noted that so far this year, Operagua Izcalli has been working permanently on the dam, which has resulted in 11,700 cubic meters of water being drained. Likewise, preventive and corrective maintenance has been carried out on sewers and storm drains throughout the municipality to prevent puddles during this rainy season.
