«We have had around 10 thousand people daily in the massive events, we are talking about an average of 50 thousand attendees in general, plus those who have been in other activities,» said the mayor.

He also pointed out that the patron saint’s festivities resulted in a 90 percent hotel occupancy rate in the region, which is very positive for the city.

On the other hand, and thanks to the preventive work of the Municipal Police and the coordination with the State and Federal authorities, there has been a white balance.

The municipal authority emphasized that Boca del Río continues to consolidate itself as one of the most important tourist destinations in the country, due to its infrastructure, its services, but mainly because of the warmth of the people of Boca del Río, so the commitment for the next edition will be to surpass what has been done so far.
