SICT attended inauguration of Asia’s most advanced satellite manufacturing center / @jorgenunol @SCT_mx >>>

#SICT.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT), through the Mexican Space Agency (AEM), participated as guest of honor in the inauguration of the «ASPACE Hong Kong Satellite Manufacturing Center», the most advanced satellite manufacturing center in Asia.

AEM’s General Director, Salvador Landeros Ayala, explained that the objective of the visit is to continue with the work of attracting international satellite projects to Mexico, due to the great attractiveness of our country as an investment destination in Latin America.

Landeros Ayala explained that more than 150 specialists and representatives of the space sector from different countries attended the opening ceremony of this center, which represents a whole new era of cooperation in the global space industry.

Sun Fengquan, Co-Chairman and CEO of Hong Kong Aerospace Technology Group (HKATG) explained that the «ASPACE Hong Kong Satellite Manufacturing Center» will be the most advanced satellite manufacturing center in Asia for the next 3 to 5 years.

Afterwards, in a meeting with the head of the AEM, Sun Fengquan emphasized the importance that the relationship with Mexico can go beyond mere commercial transactions, since only by cooperating and sharing can progress in space be made.
