#Guanajuato, #Gto.- The Municipal Government of Guanajuato, headed by Mayor Alejandro Navarro, recognized nine high-performance athletes and three coaches for their performance in national and international competitions.

The delegation of athletes from Guanajuato had an admirable performance and won 14 medals in the National Games of the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (CONADE) and in the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games in El Salvador, as well as in national championships.

«You must be ambassadors of your sport, of the healthy and the good. Congratulations, in addition to your medals, for being agents of change,» said the trustee and president of the Municipal Commission for Culture, International Relations, Education, Sports and Recreation, Rodrigo Martínez Nieto.

Benjamín Vidaurri Aréchiga, who leads the interdisciplinary team «Team Galván», affirmed that Guanajuato’s athletes are the result of the promotion of sports in Guanajuato Capital.

In her speech, Laura Esther Galván recognized the efforts of her teammates, who have already set a milestone in Guanajuato’s sports with their achievements this year.
