In Tecámac, Edoméx, begins the program to evaluate the water quality in the 56 wells of Odapas / @MarielaGtzEsc @MejorTecamac >>>

#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The program to evaluate the quality of water in the 56 wells operated by the Decentralized Public Organization for the Provision of Drinking Water, Sewerage and Sanitation Services (Odapas) has begun, to ensure that the liquid that supplies the service to the homes of the municipality meets the standards for domestic consumption.

The general director of the agency, Samuel Hernandez Cruz, informed that as of Monday samples were taken from the wells located in Héroes Bosques, which will be taken to the agency’s laboratory to determine the PH of the liquid, total solids, heavy metals, hardness and ammoniacal nitrogen.

Also the water will be analyzed by an external laboratory, and with a second report to know the quality of the liquid that is distributed by the 56 drinking water wells that provide service to about 500,000 inhabitants.

In Tecámac, drinking water service is provided 24 hours a day, and the 56 wells extract an average of 1,800 liters per second to guarantee the supply to the homes and economic units of the municipality.

He also informed that as of August 21, bacteriological and chemical analyses will be carried out on Tecámac’s water, through a collaboration agreement established by the municipal president, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, with the Commission for Protection against Sanitary Risks (COPRISEM) of the Zumpango Sanitary Jurisdiction.
