Issste inaugurates the Oncology area at the Tacuba General Hospital / @drpedrozenteno @ISSSTE_mx >>>

#ISSSTE.- The Director General of the Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (Issste), Pedro Zenteno Santaella, started up the Oncology area, the polysomnograph equipment in Pneumology, the electroencephalograph in Neurology, as well as the cryotherapy equipment in Dermatology, and handed over the remodeling works of the Pediatric Emergency Room at the Hospital General (HG) Tacuba.

The nationalization of Issste not only consists of making public what used to be public, but also in having decent and equipped facilities to provide first class care, as here, in the Tacuba hospital, where in November 2022 the expansion of the Emergency Room and the Interactive Classroom of the Hemodialysis Tower was delivered, he recalled.

«These actions are part of the silent revolution of the new Issste, with first-class spaces that have enough equipment and personnel to attend to rightful claimants as they deserve, with quality service and humane treatment, because they are the owners of the institute, we are only the administrators and with their money more than 100 thousand pieces have been acquired for the medical units nationwide.»

He recalled that three new regional hospitals of 250 census beds each are currently being built: Jalisco, Coahuila and Guerrero; a 150-bed general hospital in Tamaulipas, in addition to two Hospital Clinics (CH) of 20 beds each, in Baja California Sur and Palenque, Chiapas; this, after more than two decades without having built one.
