Mayor’s Office Benito Juárez and L’Oréal Group sign collaboration agreement in favor of women / @STaboadaMx @BJAlcaldia >>>

#BenitoJuárez, #CDMX.- As part of the actions implemented by the Mayor’s Office of Benito Juárez in favor of women’s empowerment, a collaboration agreement was signed with Grupo L’Oréal and Casa Gaviota, called «Belleza por un Futuro» (Beauty for a Future), which creates the first Styling Academy in the district.

This agreement seeks to benefit women in situations of social or economic vulnerability, providing them with empowerment tools to achieve financial independence, as well as to strengthen their personal and professional development.

The first generation of the Academy is made up of 120 women from Mexico City between 18 and 65 years of age who, at the end of the course, totally free of charge, will be able to receive a job offer or start their own business to improve their family economy and thus transform their lives and their environment.

It should be noted that this alliance between the socially responsible private initiative and the Mayor’s Office of Benito Juárez, endorses the commitment that Mayor Santiago Taboada assumed since his first administration, to reduce the inequality gap and promote the development and empowerment of women.
