#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The Mayoress of Tecámac, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, expressed her confidence that the Legislative Commission of the Congress of the State of Mexico will resolve the dispute filed by the municipality of Tonanitla regarding the territorial limits with the territory of Tecámac.

After the signing of the agreement with the Government of the State of Mexico and Tonanitla, which was headed by the person in charge of the office of the Undersecretary of Government, Alejandro Viedma, he specified that in its terms, agreements and commitments confirm what has never been questioned:

«It is an approximate area of 800 hectares (minus expropriations and cessions of rights) of the ejido of Santa María Tonanitla located in our municipal territory,» he stressed.

After the agreement to avoid new conflicts and confrontations such as those that occurred last week, it was determined that it will be necessary to wait for the decree to be issued by the local Legislature.

Among the agreements reached, it is pointed out that these must be sent to the respective town councils to ratify their content, and the completion of the work in progress on state highway 794 Ojo de Agua-Tonanitla, must be concluded no later than next Friday, October 13.

The document adds that in case any other infrastructure work is required, it will be submitted to the Secretary General of Government to summon the corresponding authorities to a new work table.
