#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- In order to continue promoting the talent of Boca del Río’s athletes, Mayor Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, together with the Sánchez Ancira Foundation through the Covadonga Hospital, presented clinical scholarships to high-performance athletes who have made achievements in Mexico and abroad.

With this type of stimulus, the young people will be able to receive comprehensive quality health care to improve their performance in their respective sports disciplines, demonstrating that for the current municipal administration, sports and health is a priority.

«I recognize and thank the Sánchez Ancira Foundation for this support for the athletes so that they can access specialty consultations at the Covadonga Hospital, as well as laboratory and imaging studies, rehabilitation, clinical nutrition, clinical psychology, sports psychology and treatments to improve their performance,» said the mayor.

Likewise, Unánue Abascal acknowledged the discipline and commitment of each of the benefited athletes who are rewarded with this medical support for their comprehensive care, also recalling that since the beginning of his administration, a series of public policies have been promoted to improve recreational spaces for all those who practice sports.

For her part, Susana Sánchez Sainz; President of the Sánchez Ancira Foundation, thanked Mayor Juan Manuel Unánue for his support so that the Covadonga Hospital can continue to support the community of the municipality.

«We are very happy because we have very young and very committed people to be part of this process of success that you have (…) Here will be your home for when you have any injury and when you have to do some kind of maintenance within your training,» shared Sanchez Sainz.
