#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The Government of Tecámac, headed by Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, invited people to participate in the different activities of the Day of the Dead celebration, to commemorate one of the most representative traditions of the culture of our country.

Among the activities that will be carried out this year is the 5th. Catrinas Contest, which on this occasion will deal with the theme of extinct trades, in which pieces up to two meters high may represent the jobs of notary, muleteer, stoker, milkman, clothing dealer, spinner, apothecary, traveling photographer, tlachiquero, carbonero among others.

The inhabitants, schools and groups of Tecámac may participate in this contest, and the catrina must preserve the essential elements that identify it as one of the cultural heritage of our country.

You can register until October 25 at the offices of the General Directorate of Education and Culture, located on the Mexico-Pachuca federal highway 36.5, Colonia 5 de Mayo, from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The winning catrinas of the first three places will be part of their cultural heritage and will remain in the custody of the H. City Council of Tecámac; The contest will be held on October 31 on the Tecámac Centro esplanade.
