#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- The plays «Coco el Musical» and «La Leyenda de la Llorona» gathered almost 4 thousand people at the Zaragoza Theater and the esplanade of the Municipal Palace of Atizapán de Zaragoza, respectively, which are part of Xibalba, the Day of the Dead Festival that the local government, headed by Mayor Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, prepared for these dates.

The free performances, coordinated by the Department of Social Development, began at 4:00 p.m. and ended around 10:00 p.m. with entertainment and fun for children and adults alike.

The enthusiasm of the people to appreciate the play «Coco, the Musical» exceeded expectations and had to be extended from two to three performances. In Zaragoza alone, more than 2,700 people filled the theater, which experienced moments of enthusiasm and joy with the story that makes us think that, «if there is no one left to remember you in the world of the living, then you will disappear,» and «if there is no one left to remember you in the world of the living, then you will disappear.

The story of the boy Miguel, who dreams of becoming a musician to venerate one of his ancestors and to do so, lives adventures both on earth and in the place of the dead, managed to unite fathers, mothers and the youngest members of the household, who participated in all three performances.

For María del Carmen Hernández, a resident of the Primero de Septiembre neighborhood, shows like Coco are a great option offered by the Government of Atizapán de Zaragoza to spend an afternoon with the family and enjoy good theater.

«The play was beautiful, they brought tears to my eyes, this kind of activities are a great distraction for all of us, I brought my daughter, my mom, my daughter-in-law and my grandchildren, we all came», she said.

On the other hand, in the esplanade of the Municipal Palace, about a thousand people listened to the cries of the woman who wanders through rivers, lakes, towns and cities lamenting the death of her children in the classic play «La Leyenda de la Llorona» (The Legend of La Llorona).
