Consolidation of «Salud en tu Hogar» in Tecámac; close to two thousand home consultations provided / @MarielaGtzEsc @MejorTecamac >>>

#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The municipal system for the Integral Development of the Family (DIF) Tecámac, has provided nearly two thousand free consultations with the program «Health in your Home», aimed at vulnerable people who do not have any health service and can not leave their homes.

The program involves three general practitioners, three nutritionists, two psychologists, four nurses, who serve people who do not have health services from IMSS, ISSSTE and ISSEMyM.

The DIF of Tecámac, under the direction of Carlos Galindo, provides this program to the elderly, disabled, bedridden, vulnerable pregnant women and the terminally ill.

Multidisciplinary personnel attended 1,521 consultations up to last August, but it is estimated that to date there are around 2,000, through which the integral medical assessment, detections and follow-up, referral to second and third level of care, provision of medicines, taking vital signs and cures are carried out.

The three main ailments that the specialists of the Tecámac DIF system have attended to people between 50 and 70 years of age are diabetes mellitus, systemic arterial hypertension and venous insufficiency.

Residents who wish to benefit from the «Salud en tu Hogar» program can request medical attention by calling 55 5938 8260, so that the sick person can be evaluated by one of the doctors and followed up on a case-by-case basis.
