From Nuevo León to the World; Samuel García presents FIFA Corridor / @samuel_garcias @nuevoleon >>>

#EstadoDeNuevoLeón.- As host of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where the best version of the new Nuevo León will be shown to the world, building in six years what no government was able to do in 40, Governor Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda presented the FIFA Corridor.

He also informed that this Friday a formal request will be sent to FIFA for the December 2025 draw for the World Cup to be held in Nuevo León.

At the Mexican History Museum, García Sepúlveda said that Nuevo León is preparing with an integral mobility project that will connect people with public spaces and tourist spots in the metropolitan area of Monterrey, prioritizing pedestrians, cyclists and public transportation.

«This gives us the opportunity for Nuevo León not only to be known worldwide because Tesla is coming or as the Industrial City of Mexico, this gives us the opportunity to really show off what Nuevo León is, what we, the people of Monterrey, are and it is a very important message to the world because millions of foreigners will come and hundreds of thousands of millions of people will see us around the world in different channels on social networks,» said Samuel García.

The entire FIFA Corridor project, emphasized the Governor, revolves around the heart of this world-class sporting event; and any visitor arriving to Nuevo León by air will be able to connect with the BBVA Stadium, the official venue, and the metropolitan area, through different mobility options.
