Monterrey submits draft of Urban Development Plan for consultation / @mtygob @colosioriojas >>>

#Monterrey, #N.L.- The City Government delivered this Tuesday to the Nuevo Leon Council, the Draft Strategic Plan for Urban Development Monterrey 2040 (PMDU) to start on Thursday the citizen consultation to prepare the final document.

Before Governor Samuel Garcia, and representatives of different social sectors, the Municipal President, Luis Donaldo Colosio called on the community to get involved and present their proposals to enrich the document.

He handed the draft to the Technical Secretary of the Nuevo Leon Council, Ana Fernanda Hierro Barba, who pledged to provide the technical knowledge and experiences of the people to materialize the aforementioned project.

«Today we fulfill the responsibility of delivering to the city not one, but two proposals: our new Urban Development Plan and the first Strategic Plan in the history of the City of Monterrey the Monterrey Ideal 2040 Plan,» said the Mayor in his message.

«The first, the Urban Development Plan is to give certainty to all our territory, and that people can know where and how our city will and should grow so that it can be sustainable over time; and the Strategic Plan 2040 is a roadmap to the future we want for our city.»
