#EstadoDeMéxico.- In this first week of the second part of the campaign, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, candidate to the Senate for the Coalition “Sigamos Haciendo Historia”, has focused on reaching larger audiences in densely populated municipalities.

Without neglecting the territories of the northern region, in recent days she held meetings with militants, sympathizers and regional leaders of Toluca, Naucalpan, Tlalnepantla and Ecatepec, where in the latter municipality she received the support of the historical leaders of the left.

She also held a meeting with representatives of the Mazahua and Otomies indigenous peoples in Acambay and Temascalcingo, to whom she offered to attend to their long-standing demands and to promote respect for their culture and traditions, especially to prevent them from being forgotten.

The Senate candidate for the people of Mexico, listened to the problems and shortages they have been facing for decades, and hope that things will improve with the transformation that came to the state last year.

She also attended a meeting with students from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Lerma, and closed week eight of his campaign with an invitation from Section 17 of the National Union of Education Workers (SNTE) in Toluca.

Before members of the teaching profession, Gutiérrez Escalante said that he is taking with him the concern expressed by the teachers about the Law of the Career System for Teachers, which hurts their rights through the unit (USICAM) in charge of this process.

“I will be your main representative in this lawsuit that hurts your rights, the USICAM, the obligatory career system for teachers. My commitment to review that law, count on it,” she said.

And finally, at the beginning of this week, he expressed his support to the “Nation of Pride” movement, promoted by the LGTBQ+ community, in a meeting in the northeast of the state.
