#EstadoDeQuerétaro.- Governor Mauricio Kuri González presided over the flag ceremony for 90 students who were selected to benefit from the Bicentennial Ambassadors Scholarship 2024 program, an initiative that promotes international mobility through academic stays at institutions in the United States, such as the University of Texas at Dallas, the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, and North Carolina State University.

Kuri González recognized the talent and drive of the students who participated in the call, which on this occasion was extended to the Centennial and Meritorious Normal School of the State of Querétaro (CBENEQ), who will have the opportunity, he said, to expand their knowledge in the areas of semiconductors, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, as well as technology, engineering and science; innovation, entrepreneurship and teaching.

“You are going and you are going on behalf of two and a half million Queretaro citizens, you are going to Austin, Dallas, North Carolina (…) it is very important that you go and learn, I think you are going to see, many are going to study big data topics, many are going to see important technology topics and that is what will allow us to take Queretaro to the next level, never put a ceiling on yourselves,” he said.

During his message, the Governor emphasized the relevance of the program, which he described as key to fostering the capacity and creativity of Queretaro’s students. In this forum, he distinguished the young people as ambassadors of Queretaro and invited them to be grateful to their parents, teachers and institutions.
