#EstadoDeQuintanaRoo.- As part of the activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Quintana Roo as a Free and Sovereign State, Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa inaugurated a photographic and handicraft exhibition and representative samples of the 11 municipalities in the Chamber of Deputies, and a cultural exhibition “This is Quintana Roo: 50 Years as a Free and Sovereign State” in the Senate of the Republic.
In the presence of federal deputies, the head of the Executive thanked them for the opportunity to have spaces in the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of the Republic to share experiences and strengthen the bonds of the people of Quintana Roo that unite and strengthen us.
Mara Lezama expressed that the exhibition represents the richness of art, culture, the magical hands of artisans, photographers, painters, musicians, that this humanist government with a feminist heart has promoted since the first day of its administration, strengthened with a New Agreement for the Welfare and Development of Quintana Roo.
While participating in the inauguration of the exhibition “This is Quintana Roo: 50 Years as a Free and Sovereign State” at the Senate of the Republic, Eugenio Segura emphasized that “Quintana Roo is an example of the future, of hope, of walking with our heads held high to say that we occupy the first position in economic growth in all of Mexico. According to INEGI, in 2023 Quintana Roo registered 12.7%, being the state with the greatest dynamism at the national level, surpassing the national average by more than double and becoming a tourist reference both internationally and nationally.”
“Our state continues to demonstrate that the vision of our project is one of shared prosperity, a vision that places well-being and social justice at the center. With that vision, I am convinced that we will continue to move forward to continue making history. Quintana Roo is a state that has opened its doors to all those who seek to make their dreams come true. Our state is 50 years old: 50 years building the future,” added the senator.
