SCT informs that the Jamapa Bridge that connects Boca del Río with Alvarado, without structural risks; Municipal Civil Protection, permanently attentive: Juan Manuel Unanue

#BocaDelRío, #Veracruz. – At the request of citizens who denounced that the Jamapa Bridge that communicates Boca del Río with Alvarado is in terrible condition, the City Hall of Boca del Río, headed by President Juan Manuel Unanue, informed that the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation of the Federal Government answered that there are no structural risks in the Boca del Río Bridge, however, with the programs of routine and periodic conservation and reconstruction of roads and federal bridges, the visible imperfections that it shows will be taken care of.

It is important to remember that the Jamapa Bridge is a federal infrastructure over which the municipality has no legal authority to intervene, therefore the municipal administration requested the participation of the SCT.

Ayuntamiento de Boca del Río we reiterate our commitment to act responsibly and provide protection to all citizens, for that reason, I have instructed, for the tranquility of the boqueños, the Civil Protection Directorate of the City Council to monitor the bridge permanently,» #JuanManuelUnanue.
