#SecretaríaInfraestructuraComunicacionesYTransporte.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), the State of Quintana Roo and the Municipality of Benito Juarez, instituted a Framework Agreement for the Coordination of Actions to carry out three road infrastructure works in the region.

The agreement between the three entities will establish the development of strategies, instruments and joint actions for the construction of the Nichupté vehicular bridge, the modernization of the Luis Donaldo Colosio Boulevard and its junction with the airport, as well as the extension of Chac Mool Avenue and the promotion of its interconnection with other means of communication.

The agreement was signed by the head of the SICT, Civil Engineer Jorge Arganis Díaz-Leal, and by the Governor of Quintana Roo, Carlos Manuel Joaquín González, which was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation.

The Nichupté vehicular bridge, managed by the state government as a public-private partnership, contemplates the design, construction, equipment, operation and maintenance of an 8.8 kilometer bridge including the junctions over the Nichupté Lagoon.
