Miguel Torruco and Samuel García agree on strategy to diversify tourism in Nuevo León

#SecretaríaDeTurismo.- The head of the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) highlighted the importance of collaboration among the three levels of government to continue on the path of reactivating the tourism sector, which has already shown an increase in both the business and leisure travel segments.

He emphasized that Nuevo León has all the elements to continue on the path of growth. It has a great infrastructure with spaces for all types of congresses, national and international air connectivity and wide and modern highways, but above all, the capacity and professionalism of its tourism sector.

Torruco Marqués agreed with the governor of Nuevo León to work on the creation of integrated tourism products, from which regional circuits will be formed, in order to encourage the flow of tourists and thus the economic spillover.

«We will also promote tourism in the interior of the state, beyond the metropolitan area of Monterrey. Nuevo León is a state with three wonderful Magical Towns: Bustamante, Linares and Santiago,» said the federal Secretary of Tourism.
