(#PublicSafety – #TultitlánSafe) *** #TultitlánDEMarianoEscobedo, #StateOfMexico – The Commissioner of Citizen Security in #Tultitlán, #RobertoEscobarCalderón, highlighted the strengthening of a #SecurityStrategy based on police presence, operational intelligence, and interagency coordination. As Benjamin Franklin famously stated, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” a reflection that underscores the importance of anticipating risks. Through #CrimePrevention initiatives, the municipality promotes community engagement, territorial surveillance, and technological modernization. “Our priority is to safeguard the well-being and property of Tultitlán families,” stated Roberto Escobar Calderón.
The results reported through October 2026 show decreases in intentional homicide, residential burglary involving violence, nonviolent vehicle theft, business robbery, and extortion. These efforts have been complemented by the integration of license plate recognition cameras into the C4 technological system, a tool that helps improve vehicle identification and police response capabilities. The strategy combines tactical intelligence and operational effectiveness to expand preventive efforts and improve public service. “Police professionalization and the use of technology are essential to strengthening security in our municipality,” said Roberto Escobar Calderón.

“We will maintain a continuous presence, remain close to the community, and stay committed to the peace of mind of our families,” stated Roberto Escobar Calderón.
In Tultitlán, security policy is aligned with coordination efforts at the municipal, state, and federal levels. Monitoring crime statistics published by Mexico’s Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System (SESNSP) makes it possible to track crime trends based on investigation files reported by prosecutors’ offices. In this context, interagency cooperation and criminological analysis are essential tools for guiding interventions and strengthening prevention. “Coordination among authorities helps optimize resources and deliver a more effective response to risk situations,” said Roberto Escobar Calderón.
In my view, the continuation of security operations throughout local communities and the effective use of technological resources offer a promising path toward creating safer environments in Tultitlán. This effort requires consistency, evaluation, and perseverance to address neighborhood needs, strengthen public trust, and preserve collective well-being.
With this approach, Mayor Ana Castro Fernández and Roberto Escobar Calderón reaffirm the importance of promoting a security policy grounded in prevention, responsiveness, and shared civic responsibility. As Benjamin Franklin’s well-known words remind us, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”—a principle that remains relevant to building safer and more resilient communities. #StateOfMexico
