Issste resumes relationship with international organizations

#InstitutoDeSeguridadYServiciosSocialesDeLosTrabajadoresDelEstado.- The Institute of Social Security and Social Services for State Workers (Issste) has resumed its relationship with international organizations in order to strengthen cooperation in social security, health and academic activities to share research, experiences, best practices and achieve better levels of care, as well as quality and warmth services for the benefit of its beneficiaries, informed the Director General, Pedro Zenteno Santaella.

The pandemic halted international activity for more than two years and now restarts cooperation with the International Social Security Association (ISSA), the Ibero-American Social Security Organization (OISS) and the Inter-American Conference on Social Security (CISS), in addition to multilateral organizations and international social security institutions, he said.

With international academic activities offered by foreign organizations or educational institutions, the specialization of medical and administrative personnel is managed, he added.

Issste’s Deputy Director of International Relations, Pavel Givert González Carreón, pointed out that the Director General’s instruction is to seek different mechanisms to help strengthen international academic education for medical personnel and public servants working in different areas such as pensions and economic benefits, as well as those involved in hospital administration.
