ASA Network Airports ready for the 2022 Tropical Cyclone season

#SecretaríaDeInfraestructuraComunicacionesYTransporte.- For the 2022 Tropical Cyclone Season in Mexico, 13 of the 19 airports that make up the Airports and Auxiliary Services Network (ASA) will be on alert to establish, if required, security and civil protection protocols from this May until November 30 of this year.

In order to face the possible onslaught of these meteorological phenomena, the ASA Network has established protocols to protect the integrity of users and personnel who work and use the facilities of any of our air terminals, in addition to having communication equipment, materials for the protection of facilities, supplies and personal protection items, in strict compliance with the Internal Protection Program established by each airport in its Emergency Plan.

The airports of the ASA Network that will apply these measures are: Ciudad Obregón, Ciudad del Carmen, Colima, Campeche, Ciudad Victoria, Chetumal, Guaymas, Ixtepec, Loreto, Matamoros, Poza Rica, Puerto Escondido and Tepic. The rest of the ASA Network terminals are located outside the areas of influence of these meteorological phenomena. However, the personnel at all ASA airports have the necessary training and protocols in place to effectively and promptly respond to any weather contingency.
