Armed Forces and police to receive salary increase: president

#GobiernoDeMéxico.- «We have already started with teachers. We are going to continue with soldiers, marines, policemen; then it will be doctors, nurses, everything has an explanation (…) It is about letting us finish the hiring and the public health system will work; once we have solved the dream that is going to become a reality, medical attention, free medicines, we will guarantee the right to health to everyone», he explained.

In a morning press conference, the President informed that 650 thousand teachers have been regularized in the Government of the Fourth Transformation, an unprecedented fact of labor certainty in the education sector.

«After the teachers, we are going with policemen, soldiers and sailors, who are also very important public servants, because they take care of us and protect us,» he said.

The next block to benefit, he said, will be made up of office workers and workers in the service of the State.

«There are four blocks and in all four their labor situation will be regularized. This is my commitment», assured the Chief Executive.
