Dignifying work spaces and customer service, fundamental in Issste’s transformation: Pedro Zenteno

#InstitutoDeSeguridadYServiciosSocialesDeLosTrabajadoresDelEstado.- Dignifying the work and first contact spaces for the attention of beneficiaries is fundamental to transform the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (Issste). For this reason, we are touring doctors’ offices, clinics and medical units to see first-hand the conditions in which they are located and to improve their infrastructure, said the general director, Pedro Zenteno Santaella.

During his tour of Guanajuato and Michoacán, the head of the institute pointed out that the task entrusted by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is to provide a better service at the first level of care and reinforce prevention; «that is why we are working at ground level, doing little desk work and more territory».

Pedro Zenteno has visited 101 of the 1,75 first level medical units in six months.
