Volaris’ arrival at airports located in the State of Edoméx consolidates and strengthens the metropolitan airport system

#EstadoDeMéxico.- Governor Alfredo Del Mazo Maza highlighted that in order to consolidate and strengthen the Metropolitan Airport System, the company Volaris begins a new stage of collaboration with the Toluca International Airport (AIT) through the operation of six destinations, in addition to increasing to 10 routes at the «Felipe Angeles» International Airport (AIFA).

He informed that at AIT the destinations contemplated are Cancun, Guadalajara, Huatulco, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta and Tijuana, and pointed out that these flights will be available as of July 1st, and Volaris will be the first airline to start operations at this air terminal after the most critical stage suffered by this sector due to the COVID-19 pandemic, routes that are added to the 10 at the «Felipe Angeles» International Airport.

While four AIFA routes will start in mid-August and the remaining six in mid-September, offering flights to Acapulco, Guadalajara, Huatulco, La Paz, Merida, Mexicali, Oaxaca, Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Escondido and Los Cabos.
