Resources from Lottery draw 260 will be invested in works in Sinaloa: president

#GobiernoDeMéxico.- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador invited the people of Mexico to participate in the Great Special Draw Number 260 of the National Lottery to be held on Tuesday, June 28.

«It is winning and helping our fellow man; and we are going to intensify this action because there is a great deal of public property abandoned in the different agencies, property without maintenance that goes to waste, property that is confiscated and that you have to pay a lot in maintenance in addition to the cost of the original property,» he remarked.

In a morning press conference, the President informed that the federal government is about to complete an inventory of real estate, vehicles, land, among other items confiscated from crime, which will be put out to tender with the purpose of generating resources and investing them in works that will benefit the population of the states.

«What belongs to the people to the people. It is safer in the hands of the people than in the hands of agencies, institutions, corrupt officials, that is why it is likely that the National Lottery will be strengthened, that everyone will participate, that the assets will be known (…) It is no longer the Lottery of before. Now it has two purposes: that the people who buy a little piece benefit from a prize, but at the same time contribute to Mexico’s development», he said.
