Nacional Financiera and the State Government will promote Baja California entrepreneurs: Marina del Pilar

#Ensenada, #BajaCalifornia. – With the purpose of strengthening local companies, the Governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda held a work meeting with Antonio Ramírez Pineda, General Director of Nacional Financiera (Nafin), as part of the commitment to promote Baja California entrepreneurs, where several alternatives were analyzed, such as the Impulso Program, which constitutes a contribution of resources from Nafin in the order of 13.5 to one greater than the amount available to the State to grant loans to small and medium-sized companies under preferential conditions.

The Governor emphasized that this is a program that has already begun and will be improved during the rest of the year. Coordination mechanisms are also being sought to achieve a greater flow of financing for near shoring companies, which offer supply on the border.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary of Finance of the State, Marco Antonio Moreno Mexía, who pointed out that credits will be granted to local suppliers, which will be derived from the coordination with business organizations, through the work of the Secretariat of Economy and Innovation (SEI) of Baja California.

The intention, he explained, is to generate added value through local industry, so that instead of importing inputs, local suppliers will be taken into account and authentic economic development for Baja California will be achieved.

The Chief Executive of the State installed a direct work table with the general director of Nafin to follow up on the topics considered. The event was also attended by Manuel Monárrez Macías, Nafin’s Deputy Director General for Supply.
