More than 31 million vaccines against Covid-19 have been applied in the State of Estado de México

#EstadoDeMéxico.- More than 31.8 million vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered in the State of Mexico, consolidating its position as the entity that has immunized the most people since the national strategy was launched.

In the State of Mexico, the journey began on February 14, 2021 with the immunization of adults over 60 years of age in the municipality of Aculco; from that day to date, more than 12.2 million people from different age groups have received at least one dose.

Currently, 90.9 percent of the population over 18 years of age has received at least one dose; 2.7 million doses have been administered to children under 18 years of age, 916,770 young people between 15 and 17 years of age have received their first dose, that is, more than 103.3 percent of the population of this age group in the entity.

In addition, more than 680 thousand minors between 12 and 14 years of age have been vaccinated; 14 thousand 397 doses were also applied to protected minors between 5 and 17 years of age and 66 thousand 257 to young people between 12 and 17 years of age with some comorbidity or risk factor.
