#Ecatepec, #EstadoDeMéxico. – The municipal president of Ecatepec, Fernando Vilchis Contreras, announced that his government has acquired 100 garbage collection trucks, which are assembled in the state of Jalisco and will arrive in the municipality in the next few days.
With this, the cleaning service will once again be public and free of charge in the most populated municipality in the State of Mexico, after more than 30 years in which local authorities did not provide this service due to lack of infrastructure.
Vilchis Contreras announced that the 100 garbage collection trucks have a geolocation system, which will allow them to be monitored so that they remain on the work routes assigned to each unit.
They are also equipped with exclusive compartments for organic waste and leachate, as well as an airtight sealing system to prevent odors from being released.
«With these new units we are going to change the urban image of the municipality because we will keep the roads and public spaces clean, but we will also give special attention to our schools, so that children and young people can study in spaces free of garbage,» said the mayor of Ecatepec.
