Mexico and South Korea to develop joint Space Projects

#SecretaríaDeInfraestructuraComunicacionesYTransporte.- The Mexican Space Agency (AEM), a decentralized agency of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT), in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), and the Latin American and Caribbean Space Agency (ALCE), co-organized a joint workshop with the South Korean space agency (Korea Aerospace Research Institute, KARI).

In order to present the national capabilities in aerospace technology of both countries, and to explore possibilities for joint collaborations, the work was inaugurated in the presence of the Director General of the AEM, Salvador Landeros Ayala, the Director General of International Cooperation Policy for Development of AMEXCID, Javier Dávila Torres, and the Ambassador of South Korea in Mexico, Suh Jeong-in.

As well as the Director General of American Regional Organizations and Mechanisms of the SRE, Efrain Guadarrama; the Ambassador of Mexico for the ALCE, Gustavo Cabrera; the Director General for Asia-Pacific of the SRE, Fernando Gonzalez Saiffe, and the Vice President of KARI, Hwan-Seok Choi.
