Inauguration of university transportation corridor program in Tecámac

#Tecámac, #EstadoDeMéxico.- As a result of the signing of the Security and Transportation Agreement between the Government of the State of Mexico and the Polytechnic University of Tecámac (UPT), the «University Corridor» transportation program was implemented, which currently benefits close to one thousand students of this educational institution.

With this program, which is in addition to the two University Corridors operating in the Ecatepec region, Governor Alfredo Del Mazo Maza seeks to guarantee the safety and integrity of students during their transportation to their educational centers, with properly identified units and operators, preferential fares and security actions with a gender perspective.

During the kick-off ceremony, the Secretary of Education, Gerardo Monroy Serrano, said that this program seeks to generate better conditions in terms of safety in transportation and, above all, in the mobility of the students of the Polytechnic University of Tecámac, benefiting 1,125 students of the different careers that are taught.

For the implementation of the University Corridor program at the Polytechnic University of Tecámac, students from different communities in the municipalities of Tecámac, Ecatepec and Temascalapa, as well as Tizayuca, in the state of Hidalgo, will be served.
