Second doses of vaccines against Covid-19 announced for 12 and 13 year-old children in the State of Estado de México

#EstadoDeMéxico.- Authorities from the Governments of Mexico and the State of Mexico informed that from Monday, August 1 to Friday, August 5, the second dose of the vaccine against COVID-19 will be applied to girls and boys aged 12 and 13 years old in 107 municipalities of the State of Mexico.

They explained that the vaccine can be administered in their municipality of residence by presenting CURP or birth certificate, proof of first application and proof of address.

Authorities reiterated that the vaccine is free and safe, so it is not necessary to stay overnight or arrive early in the morning to the modules and, as far as possible, try to stagger your arrival so as not to be exposed to long lines or crowds that could put your health at risk, in addition to having breakfast and, in case you are undergoing treatment, take your medication on time.

Mexicans from the remaining municipalities are asked to be patient and to be attentive to the vaccination dates in their localities, which will be announced only through official media.

Finally, they urged the population to continue with preventive health measures, even after having been vaccinated, such as the correct use of masks, masks and/or goggles, frequent hand washing and keeping a healthy distance.
