DIF Celaya staff receives training in ‘Psychological First Aid’

#Celaya, #Gto.- This Monday morning, personnel from the System for the Integral Development of the Family of Celaya, received training in «Psychological First Aid», by personnel from the Institute of Women of Guanajuato.

The areas of Family Strengthening, Social Work, Food Development, Legal, Volunteering and Liaison, participated in this course.

Psychological First Aid or PAP, is defined as a support tool designed to accompany those who are in crisis scenarios and aims to restore emotional balance, along with preventing the onset of psychological sequelae.

This training is carried out in order to improve and optimize the services provided by the unit, with the main objective of contributing to the emotional health of users, whenever required.

Whether in massive emergencies or in everyday emergencies, we must take into account the wide variety of reactions and feelings that we can find in every citizen.
