DIF Celaya stands out in the Senior Citizen Festival 2022

#Celaya, #Gto.- As part of the celebration of Adulto Mayor, last Saturday, 110 adults from Celaya, belonging to our Casa Día Gerontological Center participated in the closing events of the ‘Festival Adulto Mayor 2022’ held in León.

Always present in events that highlight the life and care of the elderly, the authorities of the System for the Integral Development of the Family were part of the closing event.

As part of the day’s activities, there was a cachibol final between Dolores Hidalgo and Salvatierra, as well as a presentation of the Casa Día de Celaya music choir along with children from the José López Portillo school.

«Last weekend’s activities were the final of cachibol, between Dolores Hidalgo and Salvatierra, we took 110 seniors who are within the Coordination, there were also musical presentations by a student band, called ‘sesentona’ and the children’s symphony orchestra of the Leon Foundation,» said Adriana Cardenas.

The President of the Board of Trustees of the DIF System, Rosa María Suárez de Mendoza, said she was happy to participate and contribute to the welfare of this important sector of the population.
