#Edoméx.- The first level of care in health services plays a decisive role in the wellbeing of the population and there are highly qualified personnel and, at the same time, constant work is being done to improve the quality of patient care.

The head of the Secretary of Health of the State of Mexico, Francisco Fernandez Clamont, pointed out that there is a constant commitment to train workers in the humanistic area, so that they acquire knowledge, skills and apply the tools to give the best of themselves to the user.

At the inauguration of the course Quality and warmth in first level health services at the Instituto de Salud del Estado de México (ISEM), he called on all participants to develop empathy with the thousands of people from the State of Mexico who come daily to request a consultation, because nowadays, not only do we seek to attend a person on an organic level, but also on a mental level, therefore, a cordial relationship makes all the difference.

He also pointed out that both concepts are closely linked and the purpose is to achieve user satisfaction, for which he asked those who work in Health Centers and Primary Health Care Centers (CEAPS) to provide the treatment that they would like to receive, since the goal is to combine aptitude with attitude, which is fundamental in the exercise of medical care.
