#Tecámac, #EstadoDeMéxico.- The Tecámac City Council, headed by the Municipal President, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, agreed to issue the call for the «Presea al Mérito Civil Tecámac, Estado de México 2022», which will be awarded to citizens or residents of the municipality who are distinguished by their actions and works and are an example for children and young people.

In the Twenty Third Ordinary Session of the Town Council, the Call, Regulations and the Integration of the Award Council for this year 2022 were unanimously approved.

The awardees must have sufficient merit to be recognized in their different fields of development or productive activities; be it academic, cultural or research or the areas contemplated in the call.

The denominations in which the Presea al Mérito Civil Municipal «Tecámac, Estado de México» 2022 will be awarded are the following: Scientific and Research Merit «Heberto Castillo Martínez»; Artistic Merit, Letters and Culture «Felipe Villanueva Gutiérrez, illustrious Mexican musician»; Pedagogical Merit and Teaching «José Vasconcelos Calderón, apostle of education»; Academic Excellence Merit «Niños Héroes de Chapultepec»; for Work in Favor of the Community «Mexican Red Cross»; Municipal Public Service «Don German Estévez López, Municipal President of Tecámac»; Municipal Strengthening «General Lázaro Cárdenas del Rio»; Economic Promotion and Development «Felipe Ángeles International Airport»; Care and Preservation of the Environment «Sierra Hermosa Ecological Reserve».
