#SICT.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) is preparing modernization works in several highway sections in five states of the country -San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, Hidalgo, Oaxaca and Tlaxcala-, which include widening, construction of junctions and bridges, crosswalks and signaling.

The General Directorate of Highways highlighted that in the state of Hidalgo, in a modernization process, the Pachuca-Huejutla highway will be widened to four lanes in its Cerro Colorado-Zacualtipan section, from kilometer 53+000 to kilometer 56+000, through the construction of earthworks, drainage, complementary and induced works, asphalt concrete paving and signaling.

The work will be carried out through a National Public Bidding that will be defined on September 8 of this year when the presentation and opening of proposals will take place.

For Oaxaca, studies and projects will begin for the construction of two at-grade junctions on the Oaxaca-Tuxtepec highway, between kilometers 160+800 and kilometer 208+700, which will include six pedestrian underpasses with ramps (PIPR’S) and six double bus stops.

Likewise, in Oaxaca, studies and projects will be prepared for the construction of seven complementary PIV’S (vehicular underpasses) structures, located on the Matías Romero Beltway.
