#EstadoDeGuanajuato.- The Governor of the State, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, delivered school books and educational infrastructure at General High School No. 17 «Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz», kicking off the 2022-2023 school year for basic education in Guanajuato.

«Guanajuato passes roll call and we declare ourselves ready for a great back to school. The doors of all preschool, primary and secondary schools open their doors to welcome students and teachers from all over the state,» said the State President.

A total of 1,666,790 students are returning to the classroom to continue with their academic preparation and personal development, he said.

They will be attended by more than 91,000 teachers, who are the best in the country, added the Governor.

Mr. Rodríguez Vallejo highlighted that Guanajuato received 7 million 174 thousand books for this school year. 100% of them have already been received in the regional delegations of the Ministry of Education for distribution to preschool, elementary, middle school and high school schools.
