#BenitoJuárez, #CDMX.- As part of the economic reactivation plan implemented in Benito Juárez, Mayor Santiago Taboada led the delivery of the «Seguro de Desempleo» support, granted for the third consecutive year to neighbors who lost their jobs due to the Covid-19 pandemic, benefiting 200 Benito Juárez residents with 5 thousand pesos each.

«This program was born when the pandemic started, we made many efforts because, it must be said, when this program happens it is because something was not done right… Today we should be strengthening small and medium enterprises, small and medium businesses and this unemployment program was born precisely because of a failure of the Federal Government in the economic policy, because today there should not be unemployment in this country, because we were promised something else and more to those who did have a job before the pandemic», highlighted the Mayor of Benito Juarez.

Santiago Taboada affirmed that this support and others such as «Salario Solidario» are the result of the decisions taken during his administration to promote economic reactivation and employment, guarantee social security for workers and their families and rescue small and medium enterprises; however, he said, it was not enough, hence the creation of the «Seguro de Desempleo» to give a boost to those who do not have economic support so they can get ahead.
