Conalep and Siemens agree to boost student participation in the development of technological innovation in México / @Letamaya @SEP_mx >>>

#SEP.- To promote the talent of students and enhance their participation in the use of digital tools and the development of technological innovations, the National College of Technical Professional Education (Conalep) and the Siemens Industry Software business group signed a collaboration agreement.

During the ceremony that formalized the strategic alliance, held at the Siemens offices, the general director of Conalep, Enrique Ku Herrera, affirmed that this initiative is a step forward to generate opportunities for young Mexicans, providing them with greater elements for their personal development and their insertion in the productive sectors.

Conalep’s commitment, he added, is to open spaces that ensure the participation of students in the development of new technologies and Industry 4.0 and, with this, «cement leadership, seeking at all times, continuous improvement and excellence in educational quality,» for the benefit of more than 300,000 students at the 313 campuses throughout the country.

For his part, the CEO of Siemens, Manuel Alejandro Canela Martínez, said that this collaboration agreement strengthens the participation of Higher Secondary Education in the industry and contributes to improving training to keep it at the forefront in key sectors, generating greater opportunities for young Mexicans.
