#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- This Friday night, the Municipal Palace of Boca del Rio, was illuminated in pink as part of the month of the fight against breast cancer.

The president of the Municipal DIF, Melina Rivera de Unánue, was accompanied by city hall officials, representatives of civil associations and women from Boca del Rio who gathered at the Benito Juárez civic square.

At 7:30 p.m., the municipal palace was illuminated in pink and this marked the beginning of the October activities against Breast Cancer.

Rivera de Unanue indicated that, due to the increase in the number of cases of breast cancer, the municipal DIF has worked very hard to ensure that women with this disease are diagnosed early, as this increases the chances of survival.
