Mayor Santiago Taboada delivers economic support to people in the titling process in Benito Juárez, CDMX / @STaboadaMx @BJAlcaldia >>>

#BenitoJuárez, #CDMX.- As part of Mayor Santiago Taboada’s social commitment to contribute to the professional development of Benitojuarenses, the delivery of economic support called «Beni-Titúlate» was carried out to 200 women and men in the process of professional degree graduation, both public and private institutions, with the aim of facilitating their early insertion into the labor market and, thus, to the economic revitalization.

The neighbors who complied with the guidelines, who were selected through transparent calls and clear rules, received 5 thousand pesos to support them to conclude their professional training process, in which, making a budgetary effort, the Mayor’s Office of Benito Juarez allocated one million pesos.

In this sense, Ivette Graciano, General Director of Social Development of the Mayor’s Office, called on the beneficiaries to take advantage of this economic support and to bet on a better government and better opportunities. «Despite the fact that there are governments that do not opt for people to be aspirational because they decide that people stay stagnant and do not go further ahead, in Benito Juárez we are betting that young people, adults and people want to look for better things, growth and better job opportunities. This support is for them to continue betting on their professional career and to be able to carry out the necessary procedures to complete an important stage in their lives and not leave that stage unfinished due to lack of budget in terms of payments».

Carlos Castillo, a resident of the Narvarte Poniente neighborhood, who is going to graduate with a degree in Political Science and Urban Administration, explained that he will use this support to pay for his degree. «I feel very grateful because this is an innovative action that allows us young people to successfully complete our degree process. It is a great help because, in order to prepare my thesis, I had to take out a loan to interview some people in Jalisco and now I will be able to pay for it with this support… That is what social programs are for and they are fulfilling their function, which is to help society. I thank the authorities for this support, Mayor Santiago Taboada and the other authorities who made this support possible».
